North Colonie School District welcomes new teachers

September 27, 2007 - The North Colonie Central School District welcomed 45 new teachers and two administrators to the district during a welcome reception held in their honor on Monday, Sept. 23.

 

"We continue to feel very fortunate in North Colonie to have the ability to attract very strong candidates for all of our positions," said Superintendent Randy Ehrenberg.

 

The informal gathering provided new staff with an opportunity to get to know each other. The group received a warm welcome from administrators, district staff and members of the Board of Education who were present.

 

"The current class of new teacher and administrative staff hired for the 2007-2008 school year represents a group of individuals with outstanding talent and potential," said Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum Joseph D. Corr. "We welcome them to the district and will work diligently with them to support and sustain their professional growth and development."
