May 7, 2008 - Friends and family of former North Colonie student Harry Carnevale, who was killed by a speeding motorist shortly after graduating from Shaker Senior High School in 2007, are sponsoring a fundraiser in his memory.

“Harry’s Walk” will be held on Sunday, June 15, at the Colonie Town Park. Registration will be held on the morning of the walk at 8:30 a.m. Registration/pledge forms may be picked up in Shaker High School’s main office. All proceeds will benefit the Harrison Carnevale Memorial Scholarship Award, which will be awarded annually to a deserving senior selected by the cinema arts faculty.
