April 4, 2008 – On Monday, June 30 and Tuesday, July 1, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. registration for Shaker High School summer school will take place at the high school. Summer school classes will run from July 8 to August 12. Regents exams will be administered on August 13-14, and the last day to register for walk-in exams is on Monday, July 14, by 1 p.m.

In order to qualify for summer school a student who has lost credit during the school year must have attended that course for at least 60% of the classes. If your child needs to attend summer school, please plan vacations to avoid missing class time. Students who miss more than 3 days of a class lose credit for that course.

Students, who wish to enroll in the health education class should return the pre-registration formed mailed home earlier this spring by May 9.

Monday, July 7: First day of summer school classes

Monday, July 14: Walk-in Regents exam registration ends

Monday and Tuesday, August 11-12: Local summer school exams

Thursday and Friday, August 13-14: NYS Regents examinations
