April 10, 2008 - A committee of dedicated North Colonie Central School District administrators, Board of Education members, alumni and parents is busily planning activities for Shaker High School’s 50th anniversary celebration weekend, November 8-9, 2008.

Please plan to join us for this momentous occasion. Plans are currently underway to host an alumni gala on Saturday evening, followed by a rededication ceremony on Sunday, as well as a number of other activities. Details will be posted online as they become available.

Outstanding graduates from the past 50 years will also be honored. If you would like to nominate a graduate for this distinction, please download and turn in this form to the high school.

Former English Department Supervisor Anne Kuthy serves as the committee’s chair.
