The Annual NCCSD Elementary Cross-Country Race was held on October 17th at The Colonie Town Park. Fourth, Fifth and Sixth graders from all six of our elementary schools participated in the race. A total of 557 runners ran the one mile course.

Special thanks go out to the elementary physical education staff members for their planning, preparing and motivating these students to engage in this event.

 

Special thanksto thank Coach Marbry Gansle, Coach Ed Springstead, Coach Keith Weiss and the members of the Shaker Boys and Girls Cross-Country Teams as they helped run the event.

 

Special thanks also to Mrs. Dopp who served as the Nurse for the event, and to the hundreds of parents who came out to cheer for the runners!
