Continuing our efforts to help parents feel comfortable with and supportive of SJHS, we would like to continue another avenue in addition to Open School Day held in November. On Friday, February 3, there will be a "Coffee with the Principal/PTA President" hour at SJHS. Parents are invited to stop by the main office conference room anywhere from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM. Dr. Moore, principal of SJHS, and Ms. Christine Seebold, president of the PTA, will be available to discuss various issues with parents. Coffee, tea and snacks will be available.

This is not an opportunity to discuss individual issues or concerns. Those are better addressed with counselors, teachers or hall principals. Instead, this time is being provided to answer questions about academic programming and the philosophies, practices, and programs of the junior high school, or other more general questions. There is also no formal presentation. This is an informal gathering to talk, exchange ideas, discuss philosophies, etc.
