The following students have been named Commended Students in the National Merit Scholarship Program: Pavan Bheemineni, Kaitlyn Cheney, Ramy Elminyawi, Emily Eruysal, William Feeney, Meghan Lemme, Matthew Lorini, Nicholas Niedzwiadek, Niveditha Obla, Katherine Pratt, and Shilpa Taneja.

 A Letter of Commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, which sponsors the program, will be presented by the school to these outstanding seniors.

About 34,000 Commended Students nationwide are being honored for their outstanding performance on the 2010 PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. Commended Students have shown exceptional academic promise by placing among the top five percent of more than one million program entrants.
