On Saturday, October 1, the Shaker High School Athletic Department held its annual Hall Of Fame Induction Luncheon at the Century House in Latham. Below are the biographies of both inductees.

Roger Bell - Coach 1959-1966 (Swimming)

First Swimming & Diving Coach at Shaker High School; founder of numerous swimming and diving organizations. Published book; developed chapter for swimming officials; began North Colonie School
and Community Aquatics Program.

Meredith Wolanin - Class of 2006 (Field Hockey)

Starting Varsity Field Hockey Goalkeeper 2002-2005; played in numerous National Tournaments and Festivals; 2005 1st Team Suburban Council & All-State player.
