We hope that you are relaxing and enjoying the summer time with your families! Last year’s PTA was able to provide fun, community-oriented activities including: the Harvest Dance, Movie Nights, Present Palace, Family Bingo, Book Fairs, Bike Rodeo, and the June Jubilee because of your generous financial support and wonderful volunteers.

Although last year’s activities seem like so long ago, we’ve already begun planning for the upcoming new school year and have lots of fun activities planned.

In order to be able to bring all these activities to our children at Blue Creek, the PTA still needs to fill two (2) Executive Board positions - we need a Treasurer and a Secretary.

I know that we’ve asked before, but we’re asking again…if you are interested in serving in the role of Treasurer or Secretary, please email us at bluecreekpta@yahoo.com or call Kris Ferris at 785-3128. As Kathy and I were elected at the May membership meeting, anyone interested in either position would not have to run for election, but would be appointed by the board.

Please consider volunteering for one of these positions so we can continue to plan for upcoming events that include our annual Pizza Night, the Harvest Dance, our Blue Creek Pumpkin Patch and our Movie Nights, just to name a few. If we do not get at least one volunteer for an open position, we may have to cancel some upcoming events.
