December 2, 2010 - The Art Department is pleased to share that a district-wide student artwork display of art created this semester is currently on exhibit at the New York State United Teacher headquarters, in the President’s Office, located at 800 Troy Schenectady Road in Latham.

NYSUT President, Mr. Richard Iannuzzi said he looks forward to student artwork displays annually. The artwork will be on exhibit there through the spring.

The NYSUT headquarters annually hosts the district-wide art show each May. In addition a select collection of student artwork occasionally is displayed in the President’s office. The space hosts various meetings with officials in the education field throughout the year, and it is quite an honor to have your artwork available for these professionals to view.

This exhibit represents work of our district art students in a range of grades and courses, and encompasses a variety of media. Students and art teachers represented in the exhibit include:
