Pepsi Refresh Everything challenge. All they need is a little help
from you.

The North Colonie Friends of
Music has moved up in the 40's in the rankings on the Pepsi Refresh
Everything Challenge. They have to get to the top ten to win –
they have a chance at making it!
If you haven’t yet, PLEASE vote! Friends of Music are in the
running to win $50,000 to purchase instruments for North Colonie.

If awarded the grant, Friends of Music will
purchase musical instruments to be used and enjoyed by students
involved in the music programs at Shaker High School, Shaker Junior
High, and all seven of the elementary schools.
You can help them win this challenge!
All you need to do is vote every day during the month of September.
You may cast one vote by computer and one vote by text.

Friends of Music are a group of parents, students, teachers, and
community members who feel that music is a vital part of educational
and social development. They are working to ensure that
opportunities for musical performance and appreciation are available
to everyone in our community.
The North Colonie Friends of Music provides awards for graduating
seniors, music festival fees for Suburban Council, NYSSMA Area
All-State and All-State, receptions for special concerts, funding
for projects developed by North Colonie music teachers, Jazzaret in
