June 17, 2010 - Blue Creek students filled the cafetorium on Monday, June 14, as the school held its annual Flag Day celebration.

Students sang songs, including "You're a Grand Old Flag", "Yankee Doodle Dandy" and "Let Freedom Ring". The Blue Creek sixth grade chorus also sang "America Our Home", under the direction of Shaker High School choral director, Mrs. Karen Armedio. Mrs. Dorsey and students also shared with the audience the history of the American flag.

Before the end of the celebration, Blue Creek students honored Superintendent Randy Ehrenberg, presenting her with flowers and thanking her for her nine years of service to the district.
