June 10, 2010 - As we enter the last weeks of this school year, we are making plans to celebrate our successes with Rachel’s Challenge. The week of June 7-11 is our theme week. The theme is “Celebrating Rachel’s Challenge.” Please see the attached flyer outlining the various activities for the week. We will end the week with our Fort Festival and a barbeque lunch. On the afternoon of Field Day on Wednesday, June 16, we will be joining all of our kindness chain links to see how long the school’s chain of kindness has become. Please feel free to join us for our various events and activities.

Throughout the school year, there is a pervasive feeling that Rachel’s Challenge has been a great success at Forts Ferry. We will continue with Rachel’s Challenge throughout the rest of the school year. Much appreciation and gratitude are extended to the PTA, staff, and parents for their support of Rachel’s Challenge. It has truly been a “group effort” that has resulted in making Forts Ferry a great place to be. Thank you for all of your support!
