May 18, 2010 - The North Colonie Central School District is pleased to announce that every spring sport team qualified for the New York State Scholar Athlete Team Award. This award goes to teams who have a 90 or above average. All the athletes on the team with a 90 or above average receive a pin from the New York State Public High School Athletic Association.

Studies have shown that students involved in interscholastic athletics have better grades, less discipline problems and better attendance than students who are not involved.
