All-District Art Show reception to be held on May 12

May 3, 2010 - As part of Music and Art Month at North Colonie, the Art Department will be holding its annual district-wide art show from May 10 through May 25, with a formal reception on May 12 in the main lobby of the New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) Headquarters, 800 Troy Schenectady Road (Rte. 7) Latham. Over 300 pieces of K-12 work of all varieties will be on display for the public to view.


Please note that there are specific times for schools to attend the art reception. They are as follows:


6:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Boght Hills, Forts Ferry, Loudonville, Maplewood, and Shaker Junior High School


7:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Latham Ridge, Blue Creek, Southgate and Shaker High School


Please help us to provide a safe environment in the NYSUT lobby and abide by the New York State fire code by coming at your school’s scheduled time.
