March 10, 2010 - Being a school bus driver comes with a lot of responsibility. The motto is safety first, at all times, in order to ensure a secure arrival to school. It is that kind of dedication that sets North Colonie school bus drivers apart from the rest.

On March 8, Loudonville students gave back and welcomed bus driver Melissa Henderson into their school for breakfast. Breakfast with a Bus Driver is a program that Loudonville holds in order to recognize the fabulous work that the bus drivers do.

Melissa Henderson’s passengers were all in attendance and one by one brought her thank you cards for all she does for them.

“I love you all,” Henderson said. “Thank you so much for inviting me here today.”
