December 7, 2009 - On Saturday, December 5th, approximately 75 students and their families participated in the 1st Annual Make & Take Holiday Craft Fair at Boght Hills School. Students could select from nine different crafts to make for themselves or family members as holiday gifts. The students’ creativity was outstanding and every family can be proud of the gifts they will receive from the heart of each child.

Organized by the PTA, the morning was designed as a service to families and not as a fundraiser. Light breakfast refreshments, coffee and hot chocolate were also enjoyed by the attendees. Boght Hills would like to thank everyone for coming and making the day, what will hopefully become a new tradition, an amazing success.

Special thanks are extended to the event's organizers: Mrs. Hogan, Mrs. McLean, Mr. Gaynor, Mrs. Simkulet, and Mrs. Owens. We also need to thank the parent volunteers, Junior High Student Council helpers, as well as members of Shaker High School’s S.O.S. club for their support and assistance without which this would not have been possible.
