November 19, 2009 - Albany County will
hold another H1N1 vaccine clinic this week, and
health officials will open it to all persons aged 4-24 along
with other groups listed below.
The Albany Health Department does not have vaccine for
children 6 months through three years of age.
The clinic for Albany County residents will be held from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, at the
Berne-Knox-Westerlo Elementary School, 1738 Helderberg
Trail, Berne.
Pre-registration is required for this clinic. You can call
447-4505 or register online at
www.albanycounty.com/health.
The vaccines will be provided to Albany County residents in
the following priority groups
• People ages 4 to 24 years old.
• People ages 25 to 64 years old who have pre-existing
medical conditions that put them at higher risk of flu
complications.
• People who care for or live with infants under six months
old (including parents, siblings and daycare providers).
• Pregnant women.
• Health care or emergency medical service workers.
The clinic in Berne
can give shots to 300 people.
