Forts Ferry students; local Firefighters, celebrate Fire Prevention Week over breakfast

 

October 6, 2009 - Forts Ferry students received a special treat on Tuesday as they shared the breakfast table with firefighters from the Verdoy Fire Department. The breakfast was a continuing effort of Fire Prevention Week, being celebrated throughout the North Colonie School District.

During the breakfast, students were able to ask the firefighters questions about their job and fire safety. Following breakfast, all students attended a fire prevention assembly presented by the Verdoy Firemen.
