August 4, 2009 - At the end of each summer for the past 29 years, parents and staff of the North Colonie Central School hold an extensive, fun filled evening for new families to the district.

This year, the Newcomers’ Picnic will be held on Thursday, September 3, at 5:30 p.m. at Shaker High School. This is an opportunity for all new parents and students to meet building principals, school secretaries, administrators, Board of Education members, PTA representatives and other parent and staff representatives of our schools.
 

The district’s 2008-2009 calendar incorrectly listed the picnic as scheduled for August 27.
