May 14, 2009 - Congratulations to the district's 52 students who were honored with North Colonie Central School District’s Physical Education Department Leadership Awards, which recognize students for demonstrating positive character traits.

The students received their awards during the department's Leadership Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, April 22.

The school district offers a number of character education programs to help students become good citizens. The physical education component teaches students about good sportsmanship, leadership and character traits, including honesty, respect, responsibility, integrity, perseverance, teamwork, courage, pride, loyalty and commitment.
