Students in Mary O'Connell's
seventh-grade art class show off the Valentine's Day
cards they made for children at Albany Medical Center. |
February 11, 2009 - Students in two Shaker
Junior High School art classes helped put smiles on the faces of
children at the Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center.
As a community service project, students in
Mary O'Connell's seventh- and eight-grade classes created
200 Valentine's
Day cards for children at the hospital, and the cards will be
displayed in the pediatric oncology/hematology unit.
The students enjoyed creating small works of
art that can be enjoyed by others in need.
