The New York State Board of Regents is asking state residents to help select the next education commissioner and president of the University of the State of New York. The Board seeks a visionary leader who will  guide the department through the next phase of education reform and help lift achievement levels for all, raise the state's graduation rate and close achievement gaps that persist among segments of the population.
