November 21, 2008 - Forty North Colonie students
were chosen to participate in the Suburban Council Music Festival in January. The students were chosen from
more than 730
applicants from 13 area school districts.
The concert will be held at Ballston Spa High
School on January 10 and will feature a middle school band, chorus
and orchestra and a high school jazz ensemble. Find out more about

Shaker Junior High
School hosted auditions for the festival, and a panel of 40 teacher
from around the Capital Region, including 15 from North Colonie,
helped select the students who will participate. The North Colonie Friends of Music provided lunch and morning refreshments to
the teachers.
