December 14, 2007 – The entire North Colonie Central School District community is saddened by the recent death of a Shaker High School student.

Counseling services have been made available in the Shaker High School Counseling Center and in classes to help students and staff cope with this terrible loss. We will continue to provide this support as long as necessary.

The district is sending a letter home to inform parents and encourage them to talk with their children about how they are feeling. Download the letter to parents (PDF document).
