The Suburban Council Music Festival is being held this coming
weekend, April 20-21, and 74 North Colonie students have been chosen
to participate. Nearly 800 students from 13 area school districts
auditioned for a grades 6-8 band, chorus and orchestra, and a high
school jazz ensemble.
More North Colonie music students were accepted into the Suburban
Council Music Festival than from any other district – 74 North
Colonie students of 323 accepted in total. Students were accepted
from every school building in North Colonie.
These students will perform in the Suburban Council Music Festival
in the Shenendehowa High School East Auditorium in Clifton Park on
Saturday, April 21 at 3 pm. The concert is free, and parents and
community members are welcome to attend.
