The
North Colonie Board of Education appointed Kim Greiner as Boght
Hills Elementary School Principal, effective July 1, 2007.
Greiner has served as Interim Principal at Boght Hills for the past
two years.
“I would like to thank all the teachers and staff who I have worked
with over my two years here,” said Greiner. “Everyone is always
willing to help in any situation, it’s like a real family.”
Before coming to North Colonie schools, Greiner worked at Capital
Region BOCES for six years, three of them as Manager of
Instructional Services where she integrated technology in classrooms
throughout the Capital Region. Greiner was also the Technology
Coordinator at Voorheesville Central School District, and a math and
computer teacher early on in her career.
When Greiner is not in school, she enjoys reading, cooking and canoe
racing.
“The Boght Hills students are the best part. They are always excited
about learning, and they are helpful and kind,” added Greiner. “I am
excited and honored to continue on at this wonderful school.”
