The 2012 Suburban Council Music Festival will be held at Columbia High School the weekend of January 13-14, 2012. The festival will involve a high school (grade 9-12) band, chorus, and full orchestra, and a middle school jazz ensemble (grade 6-8), selected from among students in all thirteen suburban school districts.

All students must submit an application to be considered. Middle school jazz ensemble applicants will audition on Saturday, October 29th at Saratoga Springs High School.

Applications are due to the child’s music teacher by Friday, October 7th. Any questions regarding the Suburban Council Festival should be directed to your child’s music teacher or to District Music Supervisor Deborah Keough (785-5511, ext. 3354).
