A message from the
Librarian
The library staff would like to
welcome you back for a new and wonderful school year. We hope
the year is going well so far.
As you may or may not know we have a new
circulation/library catalog. We are very excited about its ease
of use and how it will now be accessible from your home if you
have the internet. The address is:
http://lre.nccsd.opalsinfo.net/bin/home.
Students will be able to see what’s
available in the library and see any information related to the
library on this site. They only thing they will not be able to
do is reserve a book on the site. They can do that when they
come in for their library class.
Open Library will begin on Monday, September
25th from 8:50am to 9:15am. It will occur on Mondays, Wednesdays
and Fridays. Your child can exchange books at this time with
his/her teacher’s permission.
We would also like to encourage your
children to read and return their books on time. To prevent
damaged books, please make sure food or drink products are not
with the library books in the student’s book bag. Have a great
school year and thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Meri Herold
