Message from the principal
The staff and I are very excited about the school year ahead. We
have been working hard all summer to plan new academic activities
and to make sure the building is in good shape for our new and
returning students. Reading and writing will once again be a primary
focus in our school in the upcoming year. The district will be
implementing a new math textbook in all classrooms, kindergarten
through grade six. New York State will once again require all
students in grades three, four, five and six to take assessments in
the areas of English-Language Arts and Math. Fourth graders will
also take a state science assessment and fifth graders will take a
state social studies test.
