On Thursday, Feb. 5, the Shaker Junior High School History Club visited a local “military museum” with social studies teachers Seth Harris and Chris Myer. The “museum” is actually the private collection of Mr. Greg Wolanin, a district parent who is an avid collector of military paraphernalia from World War I through present day.

This field trip has become an annual event for SJHS’s History Club thanks to Mr. Wolanin’s willingness to share his expertise and material, and to Mr. Harris and Mr. Myer for their interest in history.
