Voter Eligibility
By law, all voters must be U.S. citizens, age 18
or older and residents of the North Colonie or Maplewood school
districts for at least 30 days prior
to the vote. Proof of residency such as a driver's
license may be required at the time you vote.
Voter Information
The Annual School Board Election and Budget Vote
will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2008.
Polls will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Polling Places
Residents should vote in the elementary school
in their neighborhood on Tuesday, May 20, 2008, from
9 a.m. to 9 p.m. If you have a question regarding your polling
place, please call the district office at 785-8591.

Absentee Ballots Are
Available
Residents who will be out of town or unable to
vote in person due to illness or disability can vote by absentee
ballot. YOU MUST FIRST COMPLETE AN APPLICATION TO RECEIVE AN
ABSENTEE BALLOT.
If you want an absentee ballot mailed to you,
your application must be received by the District Clerk’s office at
least one week before the vote date. If you plan to pick up your
ballot, your application must be received by the day before the
vote.
Completed absentee ballots must be received the District Clerk’s
Office by 4 p.m. on the day of the vote.
