For the 7th year in a row, Shaker High School students, faculty, and staff have  contributed to a fun community spirit installation in the front lobby, titled “The Great Pumpkin Challenge.” Under the direction of Art Department Supervisor, Anne Manzella, the pumpkins are displayed in the lobby of the high school as a fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House and SHS Art Club. Anyone can stop by with a donation of any amount and vote for his or her favorite! Pumpkins will be on display until 1:00 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30. They will then be transported to the Ronald McDonald House in Albany for the families in residence to enjoy.
